By browsing this website, creating an account or completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms. Please read these Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return Policy, each of which forms part of your agreement with us.
1. Who We Are
Banarasi Style is a brand owned and operated by Fabrics World, Ck-66/67, A76 R-1, Beniya Bagh, Varanasi – 221001, Uttar Pradesh, India. References to “we”, “us” and “our” in these Terms mean Banarasi Style. References to “you” mean the person browsing this website or placing an order.
2. Eligibility and Your Account
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract in order to place an order with us. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Please tell us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
You agree that the information you give us, including your name, delivery address, email address and mobile number, is accurate and complete. We may refuse or cancel an order where the information provided is incomplete, inaccurate or cannot be verified.
3. Products and Handloom Variation
Our sarees, dupattas, lehengas, dress materials and fabrics are handwoven by artisans in and around Varanasi. Because each piece is made by hand, slight irregularities in weave, motif placement, zari finish and dimensions are inherent to the craft and are not defects. Colours may also appear differently on your screen depending on your display settings, so the shade you receive may vary slightly from the product photograph.
Product descriptions, measurements and weights are provided as accurately as we reasonably can, but are approximate. All products are subject to availability. Because most pieces are limited or one-of-a-kind, an item may sell out after you add it to your cart.
4. Prices and Taxes
All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR). Applicable taxes and any shipping charges are shown to you at checkout before you confirm payment. For international orders, customs duties, import taxes and clearance charges levied in the destination country are payable by the recipient and are not included in the price you pay us.
We take care to price our products correctly, but errors can occur. If we discover a pricing or description error affecting an order you have placed, we will contact you and give you the choice of confirming the order at the correct price or cancelling it for a full refund.
5. Payment
Payments on this website are processed through Razorpay, which supports UPI, credit and debit cards, and net banking. We do not store your full card details or banking credentials on our servers; these are handled by the payment gateway under its own terms and security standards.
Your order is confirmed only once payment has been successfully authorised. If a payment fails, is reversed or is flagged during verification, we may hold or cancel the order.
6. Order Acceptance and Cancellation
An order you place is an offer to buy. Our acknowledgement email confirms that we have received your order; it does not amount to acceptance. A contract is formed only when we dispatch the goods.
We may decline or cancel an order, in whole or in part, where the item is unavailable, where there has been a pricing or listing error, where we suspect fraudulent or abusive activity, or where we are unable to deliver to the address given. If we cancel an order for which you have already paid, we will refund the amount received to the original payment method.
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We can usually accommodate a cancellation request only before the order has been dispatched.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Delivery timelines, shipping charges, remote-area surcharges, order tracking and our policy on failed delivery attempts are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Delivery estimates are indicative and are not guaranteed dates.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provided. Please ensure that the address and mobile number you give us are complete and correct, as we cannot redirect a parcel once it has been dispatched.
8. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
Your rights to return or exchange an item, the condition items must be in, the categories that are excluded, and the timelines for refunds are set out in our Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
In summary, and subject to that policy, eligible items may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receipt in original, unworn and unwashed condition with tags and packaging intact. Fabric cut from the thaan, customised pieces, and sarees that have been given fall and hemming cannot be returned or exchanged.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including photographs, product imagery, text, design elements, logos and the Banarasi Style name, is owned by us or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell or otherwise exploit any part of this website for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use this website in any way that is unlawful or that could damage, disable or impair it. In particular, you must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems, introduce malicious code, scrape or harvest data by automated means, or place fraudulent or speculative orders.
If you submit a review, image or other content to the site, you confirm that it is your own, that it is accurate and lawful, and you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and reproduce it in connection with our business. We may remove any content that we consider offensive, misleading or otherwise inappropriate.

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where that delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, civil unrest, failures of courier or payment networks, government restrictions or interruptions to power or telecommunications.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising out of them or out of any order placed through this website are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the rules made under it.
